Job Description

Taylored FMI LLC is a private equity sponsored, third party logistics (3PL) company. The company’s portfolio of services includes: Warehousing & Distribution, E-Commerce Fulfillment, Retail Compliance, Value Added Services, Packaging, and Transportation Management Services.

The Receiving Lead is responsible for the receiving operations of the product ensuring effective inventory controls and movement of merchandise within the warehouse. The Receiving Lead is also accountable for accuracy of receiving documents and supervision over product identification and handling. The Receiving Lead is also accountable for inventory shrinkage. The Receiving Lead is also a role model within the unit for abiding by and holding others accountable for The Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices. Leads by example with the highest level of integrity.


  • Maintain pallet count and notify Facility Manager how many pallets were used for the day.
  • Facilitate containers for associates to work on.
  • Do daily review reports for receiving and generate bill reports for Mod.
  • Keep track of employees work hours and submit time cards to payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain daily communication via e-mail with our carriers to see what containers are scheduled for the next day.
  • Identify what is expected to be delivered and create an excel spreadsheet for the plan and receiving log.
  • Log incoming containers and inbound them into OMS, Make tallies and placards for each container.
  • Manage returns and create a 943 for them in the system then go back and receive them.
  • Responsible for logging in containers as they are off leaded into the system.
  • In charge of put away team and daily workforce to off lead containers.
  • Maintain track of supplies and order supplies as needed.
  • E-mail customers on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for creating labor plan receiving on a daily basis.


  • 3 years of related 3PL experience
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a team player
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
  • Excellent communication skills – written & verbal.
  • Ability to perform job duties with high attention to detail and accuracy.
